Couture Icons

Some designs become more than gowns. They become part of the story.

Over the years, hundreds of Anna Triant Couture gowns have been created, but a handful have taken on lives of their own.
Some introduced silhouettes or techniques that would become signatures of the brand. Some marked turning points in my work as a designer. Others became beloved by photographers and collectors, returned in different interpretations over the years, or simply became unmistakably Anna Triant.
This is not a collection of everything I have made.  These are the icons.

From the extravagant romance of Versailles and the unmistakable silhouette of Distant Dreamer, to Sumptuous, Mermaid, Flower Girl, Frilled to Perfection, Phoenix, Military Chic, Fierce, Gentle, Regal and Vogue, each represents a particular moment in the evolution of Anna Triant Couture.

The story also reaches back to the runway — including designs from my 2017 collection shown during New York Fashion Week, pieces from a chapter of the brand that helped shape much of what came afterward.

Some were created only once. Others returned in new colors, fabrics or interpretations. A few became designs I could probably recognize from across a room by nothing more than their silhouette.
Together, they form a visual history of a couture house that has never been particularly interested in making quiet dresses.
